Blendable and Long Lasting Color
I love eyeshadow! I don't leave home without some on and I have to admit to being addicted to new colors! This sunset palette is ideal for the warmer colors that nicely compliment brown eyes. There is a range here, too, of matte and metallic as well as a range from lighter colors to dark. Some of the colors that initially look darker (like sunset), actually are a lot lighter than you would expect once applied to the eyelid. I like how blendable they are, too. They mix nicely not only with each other on the lid, but with other brands as well, which is important to me as there are some tried and true favorites that I love to mix with new colors for a fresh twist. This is a great palette for all year-round. As it lacks cool colors, it isn't one that I would use exclusively, but it has been nice experimenting with it so far, and I haven't hated any of the colors at all. I know that I will enjoy using this on my eyes!<br /><br />When used with an eyeshadow primer, this shadow easily lasts all day long and into the night! It comes off well with a makeup wipe or other eye makeup remover. I wear contacts and none of the colors have irritated my eyes either.
Nice selection
I like the selection of colors included in this palette. The case is sturdy and magnetic. Nothing was broken when it came in the mail. All the colors are secure in the packaging.<br /><br />The products are buildable, so you can have a softer look or a more dramatic one. The shadow itself is a smooth texture. The shimmer shades, unlike other products, are pretty visible and opaque. I think one can make many looks with the selection of colors.
Nice set of eye shadow
The Sunset Dusk Palette has 15 colors of glazed eye shadow and they all really pop! The case is well-made and held closed via a magnet. You have enough options to go bold or go more reserved, and the eye shadow lasts all day without issue. Many of the colors are glittery, which I did not know for sure if I would like, but I really do! Definitely worth it.
